Position: Summer Sports Camp Counsellor 
Location: Willowjays 10430 Sideroad 17, Sunderland
Duration: July – August 2026
Age Requirement: 16 +

About the Role

We’re looking for energized and responsible Sports Counsellors to help create a fun, safe, and active summer for our campers! If you love sports, teamwork, and working with kids, this is the perfect summer job.

Responsibilities

• Lead and organize daily sports activities (e.g., soccer, basketball, volleyball, ball hockey, conditioning drills & relay games)

• Teach basic skills, rules, and good sportsmanship

• Encourage participation and teamwork among campers

• Supervise campers to ensure safety at all times

• Act as a positive role model for campers

Qualifications

• Enjoy working with children and pre teens 4 – 12yrs old 

• Knowledge of basic sports and physical activities

• Energetic, patient, and can work independently or with a team

• Strong communication and leadership skills

• First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain) is a plus
